Come and go

Glad to report that I had an incredibly productive weekend. I managed to fix the tie rod on Lisa's car and get the garage cleaned up a bit, not to mention I made some shelves for the closets in the house. Even better, it looks like the weather will be warm, if a little wet, in Savannah for St Pats next week!

4 inches of snow on Sunday, 70 degrees following Friday!

For the first time in more than a year, I actually have to get showered, shaved and dressed to head into the office today. I'm actually kind of excited as it provides a change of pace and is a good opportunity to catch up with some co-workers I haven't seen in years.

And I have the day off. I think I will spend the day tinkering in the garage. - Maybe I'll build that workbench I've been meaning to get to.

The weather is starting to improve. We are going to go from the teens to mid 60's in the course of 24 hours. You have to love Charlotte weather!

Woke up this morning to our second snow of the season. This time it even covered the grass, although not the streets. Spencer seemed to enjoy being outside in it. It's been years since we have had snow twice in one season down here. Thankfully, it will be back to 60 degrees by Friday.

I know an unfortunate number of people that need one. :(

Congratulations to Lisa on her promotion and associated raise. Given the state of the economy and how little time she's been working there, it just shows that I'm not the only one that appreciates her!

OK, things are really coming together now. Got all of yesterdays bugs worked out and will start on the forum this evening
